Yes. To gift a film, visit its Video Store page on the Letterboxd website, select Rent, then select Gift This and complete checkout. You can schedule delivery for a specific date and the recipient will receive an email with a redemption link. The recipient must sign in using a Letterboxd account to redeem and watch the film. (If they don’t have an account, they can create one for free.)
Gifted rentals follow the same viewing rules as standard rentals. Redeeming the gift starts the advertised rental window and once playback starts, the recipient has 48 hours to watch the content. Gift purchases are non-refundable once the link has been sent, but if anything goes wrong with gifting or redemption, please contact our support team with details and we can help out.
