You can watch your rentals using our website and apps:
Web:
- Head to Video Store to view all available shelves. The Your Rentals section lists any active rentals, and you can start watching directly from that list.
iOS:
- Open the Letterboxd app and any active rentals will appear on the home screen. You can also tap on the Profile tab and then on Rentals. If you don’t have the app installed, search for Letterboxd in the App Store. Install, sign in, and start watching.
Android:
- Open the Letterboxd app and any active rentals will appear on the home screen. You can also tap on the Profile tab and then on Rentals. If you don’t have the app installed, search for Letterboxd in the Google Play Store. Install, sign in, and start watching.
Apple TV hardware:
- Open the Letterboxd app and you’ll see your active rentals in the Video Store section. If you don’t have the app installed, search for Letterboxd in the App Store. Install, sign in, and start watching.
Smart TV via Chromecast (Android and web):
- Use the Letterboxd Android app to cast directly from the video player to a compatible smart TV.
- Use Google Chrome on your computer to cast directly from the video player.
- Make sure both your phone, tablet or computer are on the same wi-fi network as your Chromecast-compatible device. Note: Chromecasting from iOS isn’t supported.
Smart TV via AirPlay (iOS):
- If you’re watching from an iPhone, iPad or Mac, you can AirPlay your rental to any AirPlay 2-compatible device, including Apple TV 4K and some smart TVs.
- Captions (when available) can be enabled directly from the video player while casting.
